Your tour is led by a knowledgeable expert who will tell you all about the amazing history of this place and point out some of the more unusual features of the Garden. Lunch and snacks are included!
As you explore this incredible park, you'll be surrounded by hundreds of lowland rainforest species of flowers, shrubs, and ground covers, as well as an incredible array of rare and exotic trees. Whether you're a nature lover, a botanical enthusiast, or simply looking for a beautiful place to spend the day, the Garden of Eden Arboretum is the perfect destination. And if you're looking for a truly educational experience, the naturalist guide can tell you about the over 500 plants, all botanically labeled for your convenience.
Not only can you witness the beauty of the taro fields that have been maintained since ancestral times, but you will see why the Keʻanae peninsula is a popular spot for fishermen and photographers alike. People come from all over the globe just to capture the stunning scenery. As we head down towards the village, keep an eye out for the stone church that's been around since 1856. It's the only building left standing after the horrific tsunami of 1946, which claimed over twenty lives. Although swimming is not allowed in Keʻanae, you can still stand by the Congregational Church to admire the beauty of the rolling blue waves.
The Road to Hana is world-famous for the natural beauty of its unblemished landscapes and towering waterfalls. This scenic road connects Kaluhui to Hana in east Maui. The highway features narrow winding roads and one-lane bridges, taking you past gorgeous beaches, rugged coastlines, lush forests, waterfalls, pools, and hiking trails. Maui is understandably proud of Heavenly Hana's successful fight against overdevelopment and the destruction of their Hawaiian culture. The Road to Hana can be tricky to navigate. So, if you'd rather not drive, and you want a guide to share some of the culture and history of this amazing place, this Hana small group van tour is your best option.

This area attracts fishermen and photographers from all over the world looking to catch Maui’s famous North Shore waves against the beautiful Keʻanae peninsula.
The next stop is the beautiful Garden of Eden where we will enjoy a private tour of the botanical garden and a delicious picnic lunch at one of the lookouts in the Garden. If you're looking for a unique outdoor experience, taking a tour of the 25-acre garden is a must-do activity. Purchased in 1991, the garden was initially created to restore the area's natural ecosystem by incorporating Hawaii's native and indigenous species. However, along the way, the creators realized the opportunity to include exotic plants and trees from the South Pacific region and tropical rain forests throughout the world. As you wander through the garden, keep your eyes peeled for the various animals that call the garden home, including peafowl, chickens, ducks, geese, and even a few horses. Plus, you won't want to miss catching a glimpse of Upper Puohokamoa Falls from within the garden.
