Standard Hana Tour

5:30 am	Flight from Honolulu to Kahului Maui.
8:10 am	Drive across the island of Maui, through various small villages and towns.
9:00 am	Enjoy a light breakfast, treats or other items on the North Shore.
9:30 am	Enter the Hana rainforest on the Hana Highway with twists and turns.
10:20 am	See various native and non-native vegetation you might not seen any where else in the USA
11:00 am	Stop in Keanae Peninsula, an ancient man made taro and banana growing area
11:30 am	Sightsee from your comfortable, elevated seat through large windows, waterfalls, flowers, wildlife, rainforest and more
12:00 pm	See some of the beaches in the Hana area including a multi-colored one with an island view.
12:30 pm	Lunch at Hana Farms (included) which is a tropical farm and marketplace located in the rainforest along Hana Highway.
1:30 pm	Go enter a lava tube, walk on a black sand beach or witness a blow hole at Waianapanapa State Park.
2:15 pm	Head for a fun snack of coconut ice cream in a variety of fun flavors.
2:45 pm	Enjoy a swim in a waterfall pool. Jump off the cliffs if you dare.
3:45 pm	Continue to see beautiful overlooks and brief stops along the road from Hana.
4:30 pm	Return to the famous north shore beach and surfing areas. Spot a green Hawaiian Sea turtle on the sand.
5:20 pm	Return the airport.
7:30 pm	Arrive in Waikiki at your accommodations.

Further Facts

This tour is operated on very rough, winding roads. It is not recommended for pregnant women or those with back or motion problems.
Moderate walking, please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately. You may wish to bring a light jacket as it gets cooler upcountry. The ride to Hana may be rough as there are stretches of uneven surfaces. Locations/Routes may be modified due to national and state park advisories.
All guests must bring a valid ID for airport security check-in. International guests must bring a valid passport for airport security check-in. Children under 2 years of age are considered FREE if the child is on a lap and does not occupy a seat. Please let us know in the comment section when booking.
Please meet at the airport at 5:00 AM for your interisland flight on Hawaiian Airlines and promptly check at the Hawaiian Airlines Ticket Counter or Self-Service Kiosk. Make sure to check in for all flights (round trip) and then proceed to the designated gate for departure.

Reservations

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before your tour date to qualify for any refund or credit.

Any request for a refund prior to 7 days will result in a credit for a future tour, good for one year and in the reserved names only. They are not transferable. Due to airline policy, we can also provide a refund in the form of an airline credit to be used anywhere Hawaiian Airlines flies, along with the remaining portion of your tour cost returned to your credit card or debit card.

Is there reliable mobile coverage on this tour?

For a good portion of this tour, there reliability of any network becomes frustrating. Calls and texts will be delayed for about an hour. The internet service will have brief moments of operation. At many of the main attractions there will be areas where you will receive some slow connection speeds.
Can young families take this tour?

Believe it or not, young children love to hang out in the car with their parents if they are not driving. Sit back and enjoy some time with your child. Those under 2 years who fly free also ride free on this tour.
Is breakfast or lunch included on this experience?

Lunch at Hana Farms (included) which is a tropical farm and marketplace located in the rainforest along Hana Highway.
Can I be picked up at the airport for this tour?

Due to regulations and other operating agreements with the airports, we require our guests who are traveling inter-island to purchase our tour that includes flights. This allows us to make sure you match up with other guests, provides the fee to the airport and guarantees that if you miss your flight, we are responsible and will take care of you.

Can I drive myself to the airport in Honolulu?

We include transportation to and from the airport if you are staying in the Waikiki area. For those guests staying outside that area, you can drive and park at the Honolulu airport. Please make sure you make your arrive in plenty of time for your flight. There is no discount for guests who drive to Honolulu airport themselves, even if they are staying in Waikiki and opt for a later wake up call.
Are seats chosen for us on the aircraft?

Seats are automatically assigned by the airline when we make the bookings for our inter-island tours. The party will be prioritized to sit together, as close to the front as possible.
