Paia Town is a beautiful town with plenty of boutiques and restaurants to explore. This charming surf destination is where the group will enjoy a continental breakfast before heading east toward Hana. As you drive, you’ll notice the scenery begin to change, and you may even see some windsurfers out on the water. This is because Paia is known as the “windsurfing capital of the world”.
The Ke’anae Peninsula is a rugged and rocky outcropping created slowly by years of lava flowing into the ocean. Today, it is a great place to stop, purchase a quick snack and enjoy the view from the coastline. We wouldn’t recommend hopping in for a swim though, as the waves here crash powerfully into the rocks creating a fine, salty mist in the air.
Hana Farms is a tropical farm and marketplace located in the rainforest along the Hana Highway. They grow a variety of tropical fruits and spices on the farm and work with a network of small suppliers who use the produce grown at Hana Farms to supply local restaurants.
